Upstarts Tournament

We had 22 players today, and played 1 and 15.  Pete von Savoye won 1st place with 5 1/2 wins. Congratulations Pete!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤗 There was a 2 way tie for 2nd place with 5 wins – Tom O’Conner and myself.  Congratulations to us!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

We’ll be playing straight 8 ball next week, but I’m thinking we might add another week of 1 and 15.  Let us know what you think!  Have a great 4th of July!!💥💥

We had a full house today with 24 players by 11:15!!  Today was 1 and 15.  There was a tie for 1st place with 4 1/2 games = Frank Westphal and Joan Wendell.  Congratulations!!🎉🎉🎉🎉  There was a 5 way tie for 2nd place which included 2 players sharing a spot so more people could play.  We usually don’t include the spots that are shared, so I will clarify that for future games.  Congrats to Cathy Goebel, Kurt Kelley ( who shared with Peshu), Jim Meyer (who shared with Jim Boekel), Ray Wertz, and Dan Lehrer. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

We had 24 players for our tournament yesterday, and we played straight 8 Ball.  There were 5 players tied for 1st place with 5 wins! – Ed Cadger, Jim Meyer, Peshu Irani, Frank Westphal, and Bob Andersen. Congratulations to all 5!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤗 There were also 5 players tied for 2nd place with 4 wins! – Tom O’Conner, Joan Wendell, Dale Wallace, Jim Boekel, and Ray Wertz.  Congrats to all 5!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🤗

We played 9 Ball since it was the last Thursday of the month.  I am considering playing this more often since everyone seemed to really be enjoying it!  There was a tie for 1st place with 6 wins – Frank Westphal and Dante Jannicelli.  Way to Go!  2nd place went to Ed Cadger with 5 wins!  Great job Ed!
