Ethics

If you become aware that you have committed a foul, notify your opponent immediately. Do not wait to see if your opponent is aware of the infraction. If you believe that either your next shot, or your opponents next shot, have a possibility  or likelihood  of resulting in a foul, ask for the Tournament Director, or his designee, to observe the shot so that no dispute with another player will occur.

When it is your opponent’s turn at the table, find a place to sit, and do not get involved in a conversation with other players. If there is no convenient place to sit, stand quietly in a spot out of line-of-sight of your competitor if possible.  The ability to concentrate on the complex positioning of the balls on the table and the strategy necessary to win the game is paramount to a successful outcome.
