Saturday, October 18th saw billiard balls dropping everywhere at the Kilaga Billiards Room in Lincoln Hills as sixteen of the top players from the Lincoln Hills Billiards Group vied for the title “Best of the Best.”
They played a variant of Eight Ball called One and Fifteen. Single elimination. Do or die. Sudden death.
After two hours of intense competition, Wayne Buchanan outlasted Bob Bower to emerge victorious, earning bragging rights and the title “Best of the Best.”

In the penultimate round, Jeff Grodeon fell victim to Wayne and Bob Mancini was bested by Bob Bower to set up the Championship match.
