Players Tournament (12/7/2025)
Type of Games Played
All Tournamanets are singles format.
Straight 8-Ball, 8-Ball 1/15, 9 Ball, and 10 Ball. The type of game to be played will be announced by the Tournament Leader before the tournament starts.
Date and Time
Thursday 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Warm up starts at 2 PM. Play starts at 2:30 PM.
Player Level
All player levels are welcome. However, it is recommended players are at the High Intermediate to Advanced levels.
Sign-in Procedure
Upon arrival, players will clearly print their name on the sign up sheet choosing a desired number. The tournament Leader reserves the right to change a player’s number prior to the start of the match.
Tournament Rules
The Tournament will follow the American Pool Players Association (APA) Rules. The players will lag to see who wins the right to break. The winner of the game will record both the loser and winner results on the Tournament score sheet. The loser will rack the balls for the next round of games.
One exception to the APA Rules
We will follow Professional Pool Players Association (PPA) Rules to determine stripe vs. solid. Per the PPA rule, the table is always open immediately after the break shot. The next ball sunk determines stripe vs. solid.

An informational email will be sent to the Players Billiards Group and selected members of the LHBG Board.
